I would like to know the main changes between the two releases?

If you have installed all available upgrades from the Update Manager, then none. Both releases use the same repositories, so the Update Manager will "pull up" the versions of software from the RC to those of the final release.

Problems, bugs like 32bit apps in 64bit Mint fixed
