Have tried editing /lib/udev/rules.d/80-udisks.rules in gedit AND replacing the 1's with 0's. Still unable to Open or mount the floppy drive. If or when will there be a fix for this annoying problem

Please run udisks --mount /dev/fd0 to mount the floppy.
