Problem booting Linux Mint 14 after install

Postby Jose Pereira on Thu Nov 22, 2012 10:56 pm

I could not boot the linuxmint 14 from the hard disk; however, I was able to boot it from the disk in the disk drive G, but everything was so slow to go; therefore, I wish to know how to solve this dilemma.

Please advise.

Post split from viewtopic.php?f=76&t=109730 and moved here. How did you figure your problem had something to do with "mintmenu search suggestions on debian not appearing"?

We need some more information to be able to help.

How so? It helps to know what happened.

What is "disk drive G"? You mean when booted from the installation DVD? Then please boot again from the installation DVD, and run the following command from the terminal. Post the output of it here. You can copy text to/from the terminal, see its Edit menu.
