I just installed Mint 14 with MATE. I have not used MATE before, so am learning to play with it. But I am having a problem that whenever I minimize a window, it does not show on the panel. I have never encountered this in any DE. Can someone help me out?
Thank you for all help.

Re: Where are my minimized windows?
You can add a window list to panel: right click the panel, choose Add to Panel, then select the Window List applet.

Had the same problem. Surprised this isn't already on by default.
