I have the same issue. It started when I was still using Mint 13. Now I am on Mint 14 (Cinnamon). Out-of-the-box installation. Ever since first update there are many packages that fail to be updated.
I have searched the forums over and over and found there may have been issues with the repositories, but a brand new installation should have this covered would it not?
I believe this is a generic issue, so specific details of the system being used are a bit redundant.
@Orbmisser, hope you don't mind me asking some additional questions in this post, as I think this could help us solve the issue better.
What could really help us out is to get help on:
- how to check if the sources.list file is correctly specifying all the sources
- how to get the most up-to-date sources.list life for a non modified installation
- how to find out which mirror is covering all repositories correctly?
Some pointers would be appreciated.
