Postby dehahn1984 on Sat Nov 24, 2012 10:56 pm

So i want to install custom system sounds for my new linux mint 14 setup. I downloaded my files and placed them in usr/share/sounds . Im stuck at this point. I tried to look in my sounds settings but havnt found a way to change the sound theme to the one i placed in the sounds folder. Is their something im missing?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Support for sound themes was removed in gnome 3. You can still change it using the ubuntu-tweak application, which can be installed with
Code: Select all
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa
apt update
apt install ubuntu-tweak
