Chrome can't be installed

Postby Nanix on Sun Nov 25, 2012 8:25 pm

Downloaded the .deb (32bit) from googles website and tried to install it, everything went fine until I was told:

Error: failed to satisfy all dependencies (broken cache)

and I was supposed to run apt-get update -f (not exactly sure it was exactly that command)

Here is a paste of the install: http://pastebin.com/GuuAWK5U

This is a completely fresh install btw.

Not sure what happend to your Chrome install. Perhaps the repos were busy, and all the dependencies did not get downloaded. In any event the install did not complete.

The correct command is:
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install -f

Open an terminal and run it, AFTER running

Code: Select all
sudo apt-get update
