Hello

Post by Mintology »

Hello all,

I just switched back to linux this weekend. I used linux, Kubuntu, back in 2007 for work and home. Got pretty used to KDE and basic programming. I stopped using it around 2009 and went back to Windows, not because I really wanted to but simplicity because of specific programs that would only run under Windows.

Well I finally was getting sick or Windows 7 and decided to just back up all my files and dump Windows completely and go to Linux. DistroWatch listed Mint as one of the tops so I figured I would go for it. I installed Mint 13 KDE because I am a little more familiar with KDE and it s LTS. I have played with Mint 14 Cinnamon but liked the customability of KDE. Perhaps I will play more with 14 though.

Thanks,
Mintology
