Checking Disk Drives For Errors on Every Boot?

Post by bgroenks96 »

Ever since I first booted by system today, it now all of a sudden automatically performs the file system integrity check ("Checking file systems for errors... This may take several minutes").

It's never prompted me with any discovered issues, it just performs the check and starts normally after that. I would just rather not have to tell it to cancel every time I start the computer...

Isn't this only supposed to happen every 30 boots or so? Any ideas as to why it all of a sudden is doing it every time?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
