oh no, I meant under Linux Mint :) If we move this howto to the wiki it'd be nice to show some screenshots.

if I only knew how to activate the w-lan with enlightenment i would send the screenshots... perhaps i can manage that this afternoon... :)

(can you just upload a picture to the forums?

oh i see... truly a great DE with no w-lan-plugin available?! :roll: (no means to offend, but loging in and out of gnome to connect to w-lan seems a little complicated for me)

now seriously: I would really like to have a closer look at E17, but not without proper w-lan working and unfortunately I won't find the time to test it during next weeks.

perhaps one could try installing the "wifi-radar" and connecting to the w-lan using the application via command-line?!

Besides, could you give further explanations why you think E17 "rocks"?
AFAIK E17 is faster than other DE, but that is all I can tell for now, so I would be happy to hear some more advantages/goodies about it.
