oh i see... truly a great DE with no w-lan-plugin available?! (no means to offend, but loging in and out of gnome to connect to w-lan seems a little complicated for me)
now seriously: I would really like to have a closer look at E17, but not without proper w-lan working and unfortunately I won't find the time to test it during next weeks.
perhaps one could try installing the "wifi-radar" and connecting to the w-lan using the application via command-line?!
Besides, could you give further explanations why you think E17 "rocks"?
AFAIK E17 is faster than other DE, but that is all I can tell for now, so I would be happy to hear some more advantages/goodies about it.
