LM 14 Cinnamon 2d session -Help
I've just installed the newly released Linux Mint 14 with Cinnamon on one of my laptops and it was really slow and glitchy, my cpu was at 100%. So I logged out, checked Cinnamon and logged back in and the desktop worked flawlessy! Obviously it had defaulted the Cinnamon 2D desktop. But whatever I do I can't get it to log into the regular Cinnamon desktop automatically the next time I start my computer. How do I remove the Cinnamon 2D session or change the default session?

If you are using Intel graphics, see the release notes: http://linuxmint.com/rel_nadia.php.
Intel drivers, poor performance and high CPU usage
On some computers with Intel graphics, the wrong driver is sometimes used. Instead of using the Intel driver and using the GPU to render the desktop, the system reverts to another driver and uses a sofware renderer: llvmpipe.

Yes I'm using Intel graphics, I think I will go back to LM13 on this laptop.abnvolk wrote:If you are using Intel graphics, see the release notes: http://linuxmint.com/rel_nadia.php.Intel drivers, poor performance and high CPU usage

Hi,
I just swiched from Ubuntu to LM14 on my NB200 netbook and I've got the same problem with the intel graphics driver.
But the note about this problem is no longer in the release notes page...
How can I fix it?
Thanks!
