logon greeter screen

Postby lsatenstein on Fri Nov 30, 2012 10:31 am

Can you please tell me how to configure the logon screen so that the names of the users are visible?

It is not necessarily more secure to only have a single name.

Can we have the type of greeter where I click on the name, and then enter the password. As it is in Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Suse?

Please read the first sentence again.

open 'login window' in menu. under 'local' tab, change theme. there are many different themes and some of theme might have what you are looking for. also, it is helpful when you post a question to tell us what you are using, hardware etc.
