Converting movie files to new format

Post by dw5437 »

I have never burned a movie online until now. It burned as a .mkv file I need it to be >wma or jpeg if I am reading my Panasonic DVD manual correctly. I have no idea what to use to convert video files to another format. Any help much appreciated.

Yes confusion is my middle name. Ok looking at the manual it says dvd-video recorders or dvd-video cameras will play. I don't want to waste a dvd-r just to find out I can't play it. The manual says it will not play dvd-rom cd-rom cdv cd-g dvd+r/+rw sacd divx video discs. As I said the movie that I downloaded is a mkv format. Do I need to change the format or what. appreciate you answer thanks
