Update Manager does not work after upgrading Mint 13 to 14

I have no idea why is this happening, since my internet obviously works...
I am posting a screenshot, hopefully someone knows what is this about.

Hello Stteffann and welcome to Mint,

What's happening is that you must have added some PPA Repositories in mint 13 that are no longer valid in Mint 14 or Need to be unistalled and reinstalled for 14.
you can disable them by going to software Manager, clicking on the edit tab and software sources. then the click on the other tab and un-check the following ppa's

blueman/ppa

Then exit the manager and go to a terminal and type

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update

now see if you can update using update manager.

It says it is up to date. It doesn't show the error message anymore. I think it worked. Thank you.

P.S. For some reason, the Bluetooth app is not working at all or gets frozen every time I try to pair with a deivce. That is why I installed the BlueManager. But it did the same thing. Is there a solution for this?

I'm not versed enough to tell you about bluetooth , you may want to start a separate thread on that issue.
