Brightness low in optimus mode.

Postby iamcross on Sat Dec 08, 2012 5:19 pm

My PC is an ASUS 1015PN (nvidia gt218/ION2). A problem has occurred to me today. After I installed bumblebee, acpi and all those other stuff needed to be able to run optimus, I've noticed that the brightness is too low in "optimus mode". When I run it in nvidia or intel only, the brightness is fine. I tried many stuff like gconf-tool, xbacklight, the standard apps for that. I even tried modifying the config file "max_brightness" without any help.

I know my question might seem weird :) but I don't find it comfortable at all when I am home as this is my only PC.
(running Mint 14, Cinnamon).
