Being part of the beta program for Steam on Linux I'm enjoying testing and playing nice games, even though I've been supporting Humblebundle (on Linux!) for quite some time.
With Steam, the main issue is Cinnamon, as I cannot play games using a composited desktop. I need to log back in using Gnome Classic (Fallback, no effects).
Is there any other way?

Re: Steam on Linux
Same issue with TF2, but on an Intel system. Maybe submit a bug report with valve. I haven't taken the time to yet, and I haven't seen if anyone else has. I'm sure they are working on it. I actually get a better framerate on gnome-fallback than I did with Windows 7. I do play torchlight on cinnamon though.
