i've again a problem that in the previous installation i knew how to solve... but now this workaround does not work anymore
the problem is:
at a certain point (no way to replicate the bug....), at the system boot, everything seems to work fine, BUT any apllication you want to open shows in the leftmost upper corner (in my multiscreen system this means that all applications appears in the leftmost upper corner of the leftmost screen).... and, in addition, they have non title bar, and they have no relevant app button in the panel... so no way to move them
no way to switch among them with Alt-Tab, no way to raise a background app to foreground by click in it...
in the past, with the previous installation, I've found a trick in a forum that suggested to run "compiz" to solve it.. and it worked... but now compiz is not installed, and it is not present in the repository suggested recently )apt-get install compiz-gtk compizconfig-settings-manager testing main contrib non-free)
any idea?
tnx
rosanna
