Google Music Manager installs, but does nothing

Hi,

is anybody successfully using Googles Music Manager on Linux Nadia? I had no problems installing it, but then it does nothing. It sits with an earphone icon as mini app in the task bar, clicking on it brings up a context menu item with a few items, among which are "Goto Music Player" (open the player's web page) and "Options" (clicking on that does nothing).

Does anybody have made similar experiences?

Cinnamon. Do you have an idea where to look for any error logs?

Boy. I tried to test in a VM, but the installer won't let you sign in from an unrecognized machine.

Any idea what's going wrong here?

It looks like it blew up on a failed download. Having songs go directly to the config directory looks fishy to me, but who knows.

You could fire up sqlitebrowser and pick through the .db files, I guess, but have you tried restarting? Reinstalling?

I'd done so before, without effect. Now I uninstalled again, but deleted the config folder after that, and then reinstalled. That helped. Thanks.

I had the exact same problem and solved that way (deleting the musicmanager's config folder), Thank you!
