Postby Aline on Sat Dec 08, 2012 2:18 pm

Probably the umptieth ex-ubuntu user making a move to freer land! Would anyone have advice about a good and fairly cheap laptop to use with mint?
Thanks!

Hi Aline, welcome aboard :D As to the laptop, that depends on what you would call "fairly cheap" of course, but I have no specific recommendations. A good resource for finding laptops that are guaranteed to work with Linux (in fact, come installed with Linux) is: http://linuxpreloaded.com/
