[SOLVED] Mint 14 don't remember brightness after reboot

Postby Oyabunbaba on Thu Dec 06, 2012 6:13 pm

Like in title Mint 14 Cinnamon 64bit don't remember brightness after reboot, It always set back to 100%, so the first thing am doing after system start is to lower brightness to about 40%, it's very annoying.
My laptop Lenovo B570e, is this hardware issue? I doubt yes, because it happen also on Mint 13. Can i fix this?

Really funny issue, mine does the opposite.
Set it to 80-90% after reboot so dim can only just see. :!:

I just came across this article on UpUbuntu on setting display brightness on login with xbacklight. Maybe it's relevant.
