[SOLVED] Firefox asks about tabs every time I close it

Postby NorthAntrim on Mon Dec 10, 2012 3:06 pm

Whenever I close Firefox will multiple tabs, even though I have checked the remember option and chosen "Quit", it asks me the same question the next time I close multiple tabs.

I have unchecked the option to warn when closing multiple tabs in preferences too.

Using Firefox 16.0.1 (the version that came with Mint 14).

Anyone know why/how I can fix this?

Thanks. :D

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

In the address bar of Firefox enter:
Code: Select all
about:config

Accept the warning and proceed. Find the following settings and make sure those are set all to false (else double-click them to change to false):
- browser.tabs.warnOnClose
- browser.warnOnQuit

Thanks, that worked! warnOnQuit was set to true, although warnOnClose was set to false. Both are now false and I'm no longer asked.

Thanks again.
