Europeans outraged over the US using Patriot Act for worldwide spying [1]
As more and more companies and individuals across the world begin relying on cloud computing to store information digitally on remote servers, the Dutch researchers warn that the Patriot Act and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) allow for those files to be fed into the US intelligence community, disregarding privacy safeguards in place for others around the globe.
Thru secret backroom deals America's NSA,CIA,FBI under the classified aspects of 'National Security' has deemed any citizen or foreigner using a USA domain or web server hosted on USA lands is subjected to the infamous Patriot Act and warrentless invasions of users privacys are a routine occurance. All attempts to learn about the legal foundations of the backroom deals with UK, Canada, EU-Zone have been shut down by USA President's Bush jr. and now Obama under the guise of 'National Security'. A huge setback for the USA creditability came recently when the NSA talking points attempting to portray and need and legality of such goose stepping anti-privacy police state actions were themselves deemed 'classified' and redacted in the Freedom of Information report. The NSA's own public statement was redacted and classified from being exposed thru the FOI request.

NSA embarrassment: spy agency censors their own talking points in FOIA response [2]
The US National Security Agency has responded to a Freedom of Information Act request for recent talking points from the spy agency’s public affairs office, but unsurprisingly even those memos meant for the media have been heavily redacted.
In a word, WOW!
Slowing down the surveillance state: a guide to warrantless government spying [3]
Global Internet users must be aware of these ongoing attempts to file everything global Internet users email, text, download and remark on in massive databases in Utah's new NSA database and overseas with YOUR name on it. There are several guides for USA citizens to try and minimize the crushing oppression of the massive police state which are useful for global humanity to study. However, due to National Security classification and guises, the entire laws and scope of information gathering is with-held for public discourse, inspection and debate.
Both ProPublica [4] and the Electronic Frontier Foundation have released thorough guides this week that explore what the US government can and can’t do in terms of tracking US citizens using an array of weirdly-worded wiretap laws currently on the books.
ITU Approves Deep Packet Inspection Standard Behind Closed Doors, Ignores Huge Privacy Implications [5]
The telecommunications standards arm of the U.N. has quietly endorsed the standardisation of technologies that could give governments and companies the ability to sift through all of an Internet user's traffic -- including emails, banking transactions, and voice calls -- without adequate privacy safeguards. The move suggests that some governments hope for a world where even encrypted communications may not be safe from prying eyes.
"The U.S. House of Representatives voted 397-0 today on a resolution to oppose U.N. control of the Internet. 'The 397-0 vote is meant to send a signal to countries meeting at a U.N. conference on telecommunications this week. [6]
While this USA Congressional Vote is spewed by its media outlets as if the USA Gov is protecting the Internet from control, it is actually a vote to continue the heavy handed USA dictatorship over Internet services and warrant less eavesdropping. Russia and China are pushing back at the USA Gov using the Internet as a huge anti-terrorist and spying tool.
Human Resource managers in many USA jobs now are demanding potential new hires social media passwords as well as a top down Internet search for all files and documents which are linked to that potential new hire in a crass effort to wash them out and potentially black-list them in a private group of related companies. Be aware of past and present Internet activity's, be smart and don't let yourself, friends and loved ones become victims of Government entrapments, honeypots and phishing schemes agency's routinely deploy to plant maleware and enlist you in illegal actions prior to arrest.
