Language Does Not Exist

Postby plevans on Mon Dec 17, 2012 2:47 pm

I, too, receive the same message as OP when booting up my newly installed Mint Debian Xfce 4.8 201204.
"Language en_US does not exist: Using system default"

The contents of my /etc/default/locale:
LANG=en_US.UTF-8

Does any one know how I can fix this? It's annoying.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Post split from viewtopic.php?f=18&t=115138 and moved here, as your problem is about LMDE while the other was about the Main Edition.
