Installed Mint 14.
Anything I add to:
Keyboard > Keyboard shortcuts > Custom
It doesn't work.
In gconf-editor they seem to land in /desktop/gnome/keybindings. Does that mean they don't work because Cinnamon is not Gnome?
I want to add some custom shortcuts.

Re: Custom Keyboard Shortcuts not working
So... nobody uses custom shortcuts these days?
This is still a problem.

Re: Custom Keyboard Shortcuts not working
Cinnamon Settings now handles keyboard settings. I think you should create shortcuts there.
Re: Custom Keyboard Shortcuts not working
The same, not working either.
But someone pointed me in the right direction for a work-around:

Re: Custom Keyboard Shortcuts not working
The problem is, there are two keyboard settins. the one from gnome, just called "Keyboard", available in mint menu and synapse. But if you open cinnamon settings, in there you will find "Keyboard". You go in it and it's a "cinnamon settings - keyboard" you can have different shortcuts assigned to both. it's quite confusing.
Re: Custom Keyboard Shortcuts not working
Thanks for pointing that out.. I will take a closer look.
