I'm still stumbling through learning linux...
My computer finds my Ipad, but it won't show up on banshee. I removed banshee and reinstalled it (version 2.4) but it still isn't finding the Ipad. Banshee sometimes has trouble finding my ipod, but it usually finds it and I can transfer music just fine. My computer does have a history of being a bit glitchy, but since the ipad's coming up on the desktop, I think it's not my laptop's fault this time around. Any suggestions?

I also have an Ipad3g and have not got it to work with ANY linux distro.
it darn thing wont even charge when plugged in.
in banshee, it shows up and it appears to sync but after checking the ipad nothing moved over.
Kernel 3.7 has support for the new iphone 5 so maybe it will support the ipad too. try updating the kernel to the latest version. I'd try it too but my wifi keeps dropping after any kernel upgrade.
