I installed mint on a partition of me today. After I worked for some time the screen go black and go into sleep mode. This happened for several times. The sound crash ect. After each crash when I go into the log in screen I can log in and see the text poiner moving but cant see my text. I updated my NVIDIA drivers ans on the tweak website...
My Specs are:
NVIDIA GF 210
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz : 2936,00MHz
Total Memory : 2064908 kB

Hi I have a similar error I cant login to my computer and I just updated the hardware to a new video card....... thank God I have windows 7 so i can still work on my computer
