I am a newcomer to this Forum. I'm in the process of building a new system and will put Linux Mint 13 "maya" Cinnamon on it.
I'll be reading the available procedures for this Forum so if I step out of bounds, please let me know.
I am looking forward to making many new friends here.

Until then, this is Gandalf signing off.

Hello Gandalf the White and Welcome to Mint Forums.
Hope you enjoy and if you get stuck ask here there are many willing to help.
I'm curious though why you would install Mint 12 when 13 and 14 are out.
I use 13 on most of my production machines as it's a Long term support version.
Cheers. and Happy holidays.

Sorry kc1di. It is 14, not 12. Typo. At my age, typos are a fact of life.

Thanks, Orbmiser

I just had to find the correct place to upload it.

I've bummed around at PCHF for a while and this site is a lot different. Not saying good or bad, just different.
I'll figuring it out eventually.
