Hello! I always consider myself new when it comes to Linux/Unix. I bought a chihuahua (Lenovo mini) laptop quite a time ago and decided to change the OS to Mint 14. The smile came back to my face when seeing the terminal, . I've been playing around with Linux a long time ago with Slackware, the first editions of Ubuntu, and Ubuntu Ultimate. Lately, I've been inclined to stability and of course reading. I've been in the IRC channel for Mint 14 and a couple of people have pointed out the right direction in terms of learning from basic. I'm from DR and I am open to learning the basics of Mint 14 in order to get the best of it. I'm quite happy that the Linux community is still up and running and more powerful than ever. :)

Welcome to the forums and to Mint.
It doesn't matter if a glass is half empty or half full.
There is clearly room for more wine.
