The quality of the help you get is based in part on the quality of the information you supply with your request for help. To this point neither of your posts in this thread have done that. For your reference I am listing the cut and paste below that was done by the Mods as a guide to asking questions.

Details! Details! Details!

Include the version and architecture (32-bit, 64-bit) of Linux Mint.
List any relevant hardware or software specifications. 'inxi' is a useful terminal command for listing hardware, use inxi -h for a full listing of identification. To provide a full output of your hardware, type the following in terminal -> inxi -Fc 0
List what Display Environment you are using if relevant (GNOME, KDE, XFCE, LXDE, etc).
If you have output errors, list them in their entirety.

Good Luck.

You said it won't boot after a restart. What does it do? What text appears on the screen? Just blank screen?

I would take a look in the BIOS menu for any unusual "features" that might be switched on. Without any further info, so far It sounds like either a hardware issue or a BIOS issue, which could be addressed by getting a BIOS update.
