Hello all,
I have an issue with my PC suddenly loosing all power and turning off. Naturally, I suspected the powersupply, but it appears to not be the case.
It seems to only happen when I use Firefox or Chrome and - as far as I recall - only when watching flash videos (Flash ver. 11.0.1.98 )
I tested by also running the mint liveCD and it also lost power when watching a Youtube video. I can't recall this having happned doing any other kind of activity on the PC.
Have any of you ever seen this before?
Thx.

Is it the Mint flash-plugin or the adobe one?

Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon
Re: PC suddenly powers off without warning
Sorry, Mint-debian ver. 12, 64 bit and 100% upgraded.
It just happened this morning on Gmail which to my knowledge carries no Flash
I use the Mint-flashplugin.
I also run a Mint-debian laptop ver. 12, 64 bit and 100% upgraded. No problems.
Thx for responding.

I suppose you ought to have asked the question in the LMDE section to get better attention from LMDE users.
If it's using Cinnamon or Mate, this could matter as Cinnamon uses effects that Mate doesn't and such can create issues.
What about your Graphics driver? Any details on that?
