Nikon S3100 problem

Post by jokatic »

I have a problem with transferring pictures from my camera (Nikon S3100) to laptop (HP Compaq Presario CQ56). I tried various programs (gThumb, Gwenview, Dolphin, F-photo etc. etc.) and nothing works. I can see pictures, but I can't transfer them to laptop. I can open them, but I can't save them on laptop. I tried various commands (mount -a, sudo apt-get install udev autofs etc. etc.) - still nothing. It worked fine when I was using ubuntu, and it works on Windows 7, but mint (Linux Mint 14 Nadia, 32-bit, Mate) hates me.

If you don't get a better answer, try this from a terminal:

$ gphoto2 --get-all-files # copy all the files to current directory:
Please edit your original post title to include [SOLVED] if/when it is solved!
Your data and OS are backed up....right?

Грешка is error in Serbian.
