I can't find sticky key in Mint 14

Postby damieno613 on Sat Dec 29, 2012 1:55 pm

Hi I'm fairly new to Linux. I'm liking Mint the best. I upgraded from 13 to 14. I did a fresh install.

My problem is I'm not finding the universal access secton to set up the sticky keys. Am I missing something?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

How you get to it is going to depend on the version of Mint you installed which you did not list. It will be in your settings menu someplace, probably under Accessibility.

I run the Xfce desktop, so I can't confirm it, but I found this on the web about the Cinnamon desktop.
Applets
Applets are icons or texts that appear on the panel. Five applets are shipped by default, and developers are free to create their own. A tutorial for creating simple applets is available.

To install an applet: Download it and decompress it in ~/.local/share/cinnamon/applets.

Some useful stock applets include one for Accessibility, Brightness (helpful for laptop users), and windows quick list (great if you use workspaces).

If you click on Get new applets, you are taken to the Cinnamon website where there are a large number of applets including one for weather, screenshots, virtual box launcher and much more.
