Guest Cinnamon loads, not regular Cinnamon...

I can log into a guest account on 12.04 to both Cinnamon and Cinnamon 2d. However, when I try to login to regular Cinnamon/Cinnamon 2d I get no panels and no desktop icons. Tried to reset all my settings and still have the same problem. Anyone have any ideas? Running the latest Cinnamon version from the nightlies.

Have you tried deleting the config files (actually, renaming them is better than deleting) for Cinnamon so it will create new ones? I know I did that with Gnome 2 several years ago. You should revert back to the default wallpaper and settings.
Running on a 4-slot toaster @ 60Hz
