Notice how everyone does the same sort of clean, simple, monochrome setup again and again? (not just you but all the big deviantart customizers).

Challenge: a colorful desktop that looks good :D

It's a bit like photography - in black and white a photo of a bottle on the ground outside a supermarket looks artistic, switch to colours and it's suddenly more difficult.

If anyone can do it it's you! :D

Ok Bimsebasse here is some color for you. :D

Haha, it's pretty, but not what I meant :D

Nice looking colourful wallpaper: easy
Nice looking colourful shell/plasma theme: hard
Nice looking colourful GTK theme: impossible

:D
Thank you for this thread. That’s all I can say. You most definitely have made this forum into something special. You clearly know what you are doing, you’ve covered so many bases. Thanks!

Love some of your themes mmesantos1. I have a quick question. Is there a way to disable the global menu with bespin? New to kde and bespin and playing with some themes but don't like the global type of menu on dual monitor setup.

Sorry to but in, but personally I think the bluebird GTK theme is one of the best colored GTK themes. TBH I haven't used it on Gnome Shell, but I have used it on Xfce and it looks quite nice. I took this screenshot a while ago (and posted it on some other month's thread), but here is a screenshot I took with the Bluebird theme:

I'm sure mmesantos1 can do much better, but this is kind of colored :?

Thnk you sjmcc, to answer your question with KDE the global menu is not installed by default, I had to add the feature post install of Mint 14 KDE. :)
