Re: Linux Mint 14 "Nadia" KDE released!
Once again, Congratulations to the Linux Mint Team with KDE version (as in the previous edition, the 13th) is really fantastic. KDE is my preferred desktop, and Linux Mint has again done an outstanding job. I venture to say that versions 13 and 14 are the best editions that have released with KDE. Keep it up !!!! I'm testing the KDE version, it really is very, very stable, did an outstanding job with this version of Linux Mint KDE. Congratulations Linux Mint Team !!!!
Re: Linux Mint 14 "Nadia" KDE released!
Yeah! Linux Mint KDE could really become the Pardus-successor. It's as stable as could be and everything just works. I am waiting for LM 15 KDE with 3.8-kernel and KDE 4.10 as default. I only want to reïnstall once a year so I skip Nadia for now
Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon (64 bits)
Re: Linux Mint 14 "Nadia" KDE released!
Are there any plans to provide an upgrade to KDE 4.10? Seems like it looks spiffing (at least as far as KDE's own announcement is concerned!
Re: Linux Mint 14 "Nadia" KDE released!
Steps shared here: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p ... 12#p684113. An upgrade to the new KDE SC will stay optional I think, and won't be pushed to all users as it may introduce them to new problems. But as shared, you can easily upgrade with a few steps yourself 4.10 is indeed very nice!hstoellinger wrote:Are there any plans to provide an upgrade to KDE 4.10? Yep and their are threads that show how to do.
And 4.10 is worth the extra trouble to do it.
