When I set font size in appearance settings, Mint-X theme doesn't use it, while other gtk2/3 themes like Zukitwo do. Zukitwo is good, but when I select it, taskbar is white text on light-gray background, I don't see anything. Is there an easy way to fix Mint-X or Zukitwo?
It's mint 14.1 mate.

Yes. An old and well-known problem, but easily fixed as described here: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p ... 86#p429753 (and read the next post too)maXmo wrote:Is there an easy way to fix Mint-X
Please note that it's a hack and you'll lose these changes when the mint-themes package gets updated.
Yes. Just remove that theme (it's not updated for GTK+ 3.6, hence the "white text on light-gray background" syndrome) and follow the instructions here to install the updated theme.maXmo wrote:or Zukitwo?

Huh? Zukitwo page at gnome-look says it's designed for GTK+ 3.6, deleted and installed from ppa, no difference, still white on gray. Though cupertino theme looks great (it complains about missing murr,,,,,ine engine - yes with 5 commas), will use it, thanks for the tip.
