I am using Linux Mint 13 Kde.
I have installed it on a new hard drive.
I can see the notificaiton icon from Mointupdate but when I click on it the windows to enter the password open and after taht..nothing.
In a terminal when I enter "mintupdate" here is what I get :
QInotifyFileSystemWatcherEngine::addPaths: inotify_add_watch failed: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
QFileSystemWatcher: failed to add paths: /home/david/.config/ibus/bus
mintUpdate.py: Fatal IO error 11 (Ressource temporairement non disponible) on X server :0.
Does anyone have an idea ?
Thank you.
David

Same here. Been resorting to the basic apt-get commands in terminal.davidMint wrote:I am using Linux Mint 13 Kde.

Re: Mintupdate's windows do not open
Did you find how to fix this issue?
The first time I installed Mint 13 KDE everything worked fine, but after the first update trouble came.
Iadded the paths: /ibus/bus to /home/salva/ but still get the message mintUpdate.py: Fatal IO error 11
Searching in synaptic for the term "update manager", show this files as installed:
