I heard about Sidux this morning and gave it a try, when i boot into Mint now it stalls, kicks me to cmd line and I get a message about manually cleaning sda2 or something.
I was instructed to look over checkfs, this is it.

I have to press CTRL-D to set boot up away again and login.
Any ideas?

I previously had PCLinuxOS on there and wiped it for Sidux, I can see now why the errors would occur.
No idea on fixing it but good to have errors to learn that bit more.
