Re: Installing Mint - the screen cast videos.
Hello, your videos are awesome! Congratulations for your effort and your contribution.usbtux wrote: How to dualboot Windows and Linux using a manual install http://youtu.be/GlEVQqFtcuM
How does this video above differentiates if instead of Windows XP, I have Windows 8 pre-installed. When double clicking on Linux Mint Installation I get some extra partitions (150MB , 1MB etc.).
Are they of any use or I can just delete them and proceed with the tutorial according to your video, or need I do something else?
Thanks in advance!
If you ask, you look like a fool for the amount of time your question needs to be answered.

Thanks for the complements. I have no experience of windows 8. You need to post/search on the install & Boot section. Windows 8 machines come preloaded with trouble built in for linux, with efi /bios booting.
Basically I think you need to switch to legacy = bios booting which will allow you to install grub. The install should be the same as the windows7 install but as I said - You need to post/search on the install & Boot section.
