Auzentech X-Fi Forte 7.1 - no driver?

Hi all,
I have an Auzentech X-FI Forte 7.1 sound card in my PC, and I am a newbie with Linux Mint, so these facts made me unable to get sound.
I have searched solutions via Google, but no success, can anybody help to set this card? I already know this card has no original linux driver, and it is not working with similar cards' driver, so I went through the "obvious" steps. Now I feel I need magic. Please support me not to turn back to MS...

Same here. I made it get rear both channels with sound and thats the best I got. Im still looking for solution and me too hoping to get it right because that card is so awesome and I payed it a lot and I want it to work fine even in linux.
