Hi,
I'm running Linux Mint 13, 64-bit version and attempting to share my laptop's wireless internet with my PS3 via ethernet cable. The good news is that setting up connection sharing in Network Manager works great - my laptop connects to the internet wirelessly and has no problem sharing the connection with the ps3 via ethernet. The bad news is, that everytime I reboot my PS3, I then have to reboot my laptop before the PS3 will connect again. (Otherwise my PS3 claims there was a "DNS error".)
I'm sure it's just one service in particular that needs rebooting and not the entire system, but I have no idea what that service might be. It would be great if I could just enter a command in the terminal instead of rebooting the whole thing. Any ideas?
Thanks for reading!

Wow, that was simple enough. I'd tried switching the wired connection off and on via Network Manager, but using ifconfig did the trick. I guess Network Manager does it differently somehow?
Thanks jungle_boy, you rock.
