joining the "party"

the rest is a mix of adwaita-x-dark (windeco), mediterranean-dark (gtk) and mint-x-f (icons): all on webup8 ppa

Beautiful setup Zero! Love the color scheme on this one and the wall is perfect for that theme!

it's an oldish dell laptop with intel and cinnamon works very well in here
there's some manual conf, check the readme

To configure this desklet, edit the metadata.json file.

The "quality" can be:

 - 0: Fastest rendering will use nearest neighbour interpolation when rendering. good setting.
 - 1: Higher quality rendering without using extra resources.
 - 2: Render the texture with the best quality available using extra memory.

If you're going for a small frame, keep the quality low.

The "effect" can be:

 - "color": Pictures are rendered in full color
 - "sepia": Pictures are rendered in sepia
 - "black-and-white": Pictures are rendered in black and white

Note: You can middle-click the photo frame to open up the picture that is being shown.

i can't open the picture with m/click here (raring) i believe that the desklet is calling an app that i don't have installed but i can't figure out which )

So, after some time, I'm back on Linux Mint 14 MATE. I like MATE, it has some graphical glitches but it's so fast...

Would you mind posting what themes and setting you have there? The green mint theme has been driving me crazy and you seem to have found a really nice alternative that I would like to use as well, I like the menu icon too, nice job.

Here's my lovely MATE with Compiz



And dirty... I've just tried to use the Shiki-Metacity window borders, and they look very very well with the Mint-X GTK theme. I'm really happy with this one!
