Toshiba Satellite L300 does NOT read CDs but only DVDs

Hello,

I am a new Linux Mint User but already used to Ubuntu.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L300 who does read DVDs (I can read, install, boot every DVD) but the machine won't read CDs, so I just can't hear any Music CD I have.

Can anyone help?
