Hello all,
I have dualboot with Windows XP and Ubuntu 11.10 but I want to eliminate Ubuntu and install Mint, if I delete Ubuntu's partition and Install Mint right after it, will I get trouble getting into Windows partition?
I ask as Grub will be deleted then installed again so I don't know it will affect the way my computer boots.

Re: Dualboot and Grub
If you are currently using GRUB as your boot loader, then you will be fine. From the Linux Mint installation DVD/USB stick you can run GParted to delete the Ubuntu partitions. Then run the Linux Mint installer and select to install alongside the current operating system (which will be Windows XP only then). It will set up a root partition and swap partition for you, and install GRUB so at boot you can choose which operating system to start.
