Hi,following the last update to UP6 I've had an issue that requires reinstalling the fglrx driver on the latest 3.2.0-4 kernel (for reference: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=198&t=122082 ),so what would be the best/safest way to do this ?
I was thinking something along these lines:boot on the latest kernel, switch to a console (Ctrl+shift+F2),then type sudo apt-get --reinstall install fglrx .Does that sound too easy ?
Since at least everything works as before on the older kernels,I would like to avoid purging and then reinstalling the driver, because if this doesn't pan out,I would be left with a broken interface on all kernels.
Or,since the driver is probably installed but not recognized by this latest kernel, should I try to run aticonfig --initial instead, while in a console ?
