No sound in Linux 14 Nadia

I've installed Linux Mint 14 Nadia.
When I start it, login sound works.
But when I want to play audio from Youtube or when I want to play for example MP3, it doesn't work.
Ouptut device is choosed as Built-In-Audio. Everywhere is sound set on 100%. (Nowhere is mute)

BTW. When I tried to use one third-part software, sound works.

Can anybody help me?

I know that this sounds silly but did you manually turn volume 'up' on your speakers?
Also, it could be (perhaps chances are?) that Nadia just does not recognize the built in audio software that came installed with your computer. If that is the case then I would not know the reason for that to be.
BTW, what is the 3rd party software?

Yes, I wrote "Everywhere is sound set to 100%".
I thought codecs are wrong, but system is up to date.
That third-party software is demo version of program from local company. I downloaded it fromhere.
Of course it was running under WINE.

You are certainly correct about the codecs not being the problem. I do agree with you there.

Even though it's maya, it might still have functionality for Nadia.

When I googled I found this article, but it isn't my problem. I have checked option "Built-In-Audio" (and I have no more options), so my problem is based elsewhere.

This happened to me and one of the fixes I found through searching the net came from an Ubuntu forum but works for mint too as they're related, think reinstalling alsa utils did it for me but there are plenty of suggestions to try - hope one works

It didn't help. I tried all things.
It is problem with drivers? Because login sound works.
