I have used Mint since Felicia and keep up to date - super OS, love it.
My background is Unix, the old school terminal interface mid-to-large iron stuff. Did lots of database development, admin, ETL work. Seeing Linux take the *nix tradition to the next level with GUI puts a smile on my face.
However I gave all that IT stuff up to do photography. Now Linux is a tool to get a job done.
Joined here to get more involved with Linux Mint and get better access to discussions on tech issues (like my scanner not working).
