Hey guys,
I have a fresh in stall of lmde, using cinnamon, i can not get the recent documents applet to work correcety ,
When i click it and the menu comes up with the list of previous used things, if i click on any of them, instead of oppening them, it simply opens the containing folder,
I have tried a few things, such as deleting the applet from usr/share/cinnamont/applets, and downloading a fresh one into /home/charlie/.local/share/cinnamon/applets,
the new one comes up on the tray , but the same problem persists, can anyone recomend some steps to rectify this behaviour ?

hey guys, seems a bit of a dead post,
When i click on the the little clock on the task bar, my recent list pop's open, I click on a file, and instead of that file opening, it opens the folder (nautilus) that the folder is contained in.
Not quite the desired behaviour,
anyone else have this, or have some tips ?
