How to install lxde desktop on Linux Mint 14 Cinnamon?

I want to install the full lxde desktop on Linux Mint 14 with all its settings; like desktop and theme settings!! I've tried

but noticed that features like computer and home icons are absent. I want to make it look like a Mint desktop

Unfortunately there is no longer a mint-meta-lxde package since Mint stopped producing the LXDE version. The best thing to do would be to install lubuntu-desktop and then theme it as you like.

How can I install lubuntu-desktop?

Just open Synaptic Package Manager and enter lubuntu-desktop in the search. That package will also install lubuntu-core and any other packages required (quite a lot, actually). When it is finished you will be able to log out of Mint and then select LXDE at the login screen. Log back in and enjoy. It adds a lot of packages, so if hard disk space is tight for you keep that in mind.
