Hello,
The Min, Max, Close buttons on my windows have disappeared. I'm also not able to open the windowmanager or use the terminal.
I updated my system hoping that might solve it, but it didn't.
Os: Linux Mint 13 Maya Xfce. 64 bit
Processor: Intel core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40 GHZ
Sandy Bridge.
Searched for answers, but only saw solutions for people using mate or cinnamon.
any help would be much appreciated.

In short, run in the terminal. I'm not sure why it happens. It hasn't happened to me in a few weeks.
